Tag: summer

Yes my friends it is wicked hot here in the Northeast.  Stay hydrated.

While you are having a beverage of your choice, think about this:

When was the last time you took a vacation?  How long did you plan for it?

Now, how much time have you spent on planning your entire financial future?

Summer is the time for baseball and bare feet.  We as Americans celebrate our independence and enjoy our families and freedom.

It is also a great time to re-evaluate, both personally and professionally.  Yes, the kids are out of school and life might seem a little hectic, but news flash cupcake: it will always be hectic.  Once summer ends we have the start of school, then Halloween and elections (thank god when they are over!) then Thanksgiving, then it is Christmas time and the year is over.

Draw a line in the sand, while you can still walk on it.

Commit to reviewing your planning while it is still hot and sunny.

Meet with your advisors, check your allocations.  Review your plans.  Now is the best time to make mid-year corrections.

Before as they say in the song Danny Boy “summer’s gone, and all the leaves are dying…”
